Head of Airport Master Planning Jobs available in Dubai Airport
Job Purpose
To initiate, develop, produce and maintain the overall Master Plan for Dubai Airports. This role will ensure a coherent plan that encompasses the growth of the aviation sector at both DXB and DWC. This role is also required to ensure that all projects that relate to the Experience Program align with the Master Plan and contribute to the deliverable of the Experience Program.
A key aspect of this role is the translation of long term forecast traffic scenarios and target service levels into facility requirements that meets the proposed customer experience and capacity demands.
Qualifications and Education:
The Ideal Candidate must have following qualification and experience.
Degree level in a discipline related to Urban Planning, Master Planning or Airport Management
Postgraduate and professional qualification, preferably in associated airport / transportation master planning field
Membership of a recognized international master planning institute would be considered an advantage
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years in depth experience of Master Planning and management of complex, time critical airport/aviation/transportation development programs within a regulated, operationally constrained and capacity focused environment.
Extensive experience of phased delivery of projects while maintaining minimum capacity demands and mature understanding of construction influences live operations.
Experience of engagement with government highway / rail infrastructure master planning teams and alignment with associated published policy documentation.
Detailed knowledge, understanding and analytical capability of long term traffic forecasts and their translation into facility requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, annual forecasts, seasonal forecasts, gated scheduling and busy hour rates. An understanding of airspace capacity forecasts and demand analysis is also required.
Demonstration of master plan development through external stakeholder engagement within the transportation / aviation sector
Significant experience of dealing with multi-dimensional groups of stakeholders at a senior level
