About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician (Electrical) to join Engineering department in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
To carry out repair and maintenance and installation related to electrical equipment and spares which reflect the standard of Hotel.
To handle the Duty Engineer position, while shortage of Team Leaders.
To maintain all the external lights according to the standard.
To ensure all the portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix
Ensure all the electrical equipment are tested and maintained as per requirements.
Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA’s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.
Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.
Good all round skills and high quality standard.
Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC equipment maintenance and repairs.
Sound knowledge of starting methods from motors, pumps and use of various chemicals for swimming pools.
Ensure that the par level is maintained for the fast moving Electrical spares in the stores.
Knowledge of Building Management System.
Knowledge of basics of engineering drawings.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role in a hospitality environment
Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance, repairs and trouble shooting
Knowledge in various trades like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent experience would be an added value
Engineering certificate in related fields. At least 1 year formal training (certified).
Knowledge in computer based planned preventive maintenance
Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system
Good English communication skills
