Transmission and Distribution of Natural Gas
Through a large network of gas pipelines, compressor and gas supply stations OGC transmits and distributes gas to key economic sectors and to major consumers, ranging from Power and Desalination plants to Fertilizer, Methanol, Petrochemical, Refinery, Steel and Cement plants.
Project Management Services
OGC provides a full range of ‘project management services’ in pipeline construction. These services are customised to meet individual client requirements, spanning from overall planning to coordination, control, feasibility analysis and support that continues through all stages of commissioning.
JOB PURPOSE:
To evaluate and analyze the Company’s financial situation, and prepare recommendations to help the company invest, manage and spend company funds.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
The applicant must have Master Degree in Financial / Banking Studies or any equivalents qualifications (CMA/CIMA/CFA) with at least 7 years in the field of financial appraisal of business opportunities and proposals.
2-Senior Communication officer
JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the effective delivery of internal and external communications, with a particular focus on media and to monitor and analyse media coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
The Incumbent must have bachelor Degree in Communications/ Advertising/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Mass Media with minimum of 5 years’ experience in communications, advertising, public relations, journalism and mass media functions preferably in large public relations agency or private organization.
3-Senior Worker Planner
5-Operator (Fahud)
JOB PURPOSE:
To support work planning and execution with high focus on Maintenance & Engineering Service Contractors with responsibility extends from work initiation, scope sizing and estimation, execution, close out, etc. Act as company representative (CR) with direct responsibility of MEC in terms of financial and technical management as well as QHSE. Delivery of all external support services for operation and maintenance efforts as part of the overall work planning process.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
The candidate must have Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Technical Quantity Surveillance or equivalent engineering education along with At-least 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry with skills on surface operations and facilities including 5 years’ experience in managing technical contracts with maintenance and engineering nature. Accreditation on Contract Holder ship is preferred.
4-Mechanical Technician (Sohar)
JOB PURPOSE:
Performs mechanical maintenance of all Static and Rotating equipment at Gas Supply Stations, Pressure Limiting Stations, Compressor Stations and Block valve stations inclusive of different pipelines with in the area of responsibility. Ensures maintenance on pipelines and other facilities are performed in accordance with established Company procedures and recognized industry standards. Provides support for the Maintenance Supervisor and Sr. Mechanical Technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant must have diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalents qualifications with at least 3-5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Electrical Maintenance activities.
JOB PURPOSE:
To performs all operational activities at Gas Supply Stations (GSS), Pressure Limiting Stations (PLS), Compressor Stations and Pipelines, Supports Operation Supervisor and Sr. Operator in their duties.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have diploma in Engineering Oil and Gas / Mechanical or equivalents qualifications with at least 3-5 years of experience in operation of process control in the Oil and Gas field.
6-Instrument Technician(Muscat & Salalah)
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform/oversee operations and maintenance of all Instrument & Control equipment and related systems at Gas Supply Stations, Pressure Limiting Stations, Compressor Stations and any such rotating or static equipment located along the pipeline. Provides support for the Maintenance Supervisor and Sr. Instrument Technician.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have diploma in Instrument Engineering or any equivalents qualifications with At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Instrument and Control Maintenance activities.
