An opportunity has
arisen for a Enthusiastic Female Lobby Curator to join Front Office
department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.
Be the live and soul
of the lobby, creating a positive environment and maintaining an engaging,
approachable, helpful and friendly manner to colleagues and guests alike
Acknowledge, greet,
welcome, engage & initiate genuine adaptive conversation with guests and
visitors facilitating the smooth operation of the lobby, obtaining feedback
and assisting in creating memorable guest experiences
Provide historical
and cultural facts of the destination and be a story teller for Jumeirah and
the unique hotel differentiators / interesting facts
Provide latest
information on the Hotel’s outlets, amenities, services and facilities,
actively upselling and making reservations
Maintain the
Insider’s Tablet fully updated with the latest Hotel, Jumeirah Group and
Destination information including product, services, events and experiences
for all guests’ profiles
Respond to any guest
requests for particular services (e.g., directions, transportation,
reservations, dry cleaning, celebrations, other) by making arrangements with
the relevant departments and following up to ensure satisfaction
Handle, record and
respond to guest’ complaints and feedback according to Group standards,
cooperating with all the required stakeholders for their effective resolution
and management.
Record guests’
preferences and supervise the guests’ Profile Notes archive, spot checking
both quality and usefulness of the information and preferences captured and
addressing gaps in order to enable colleagues to enhance the guests’ Jumeirah
Experience further.
Implement approved
departmental policies, processes and procedures, and monitor their adherence
so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while
delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of
excellence.
Provide on-the-job
training and constructive feedback to front office colleagues as required to
support their overall development and performance.
Motivate front office
colleagues and contribute to the identification of opportunities for
participating in change initiatives, programmers and projects taking into
account best practices, improvement of processes and productivity
improvement.
Adhere to all hotel
and company standards, Business conduct and ethics, policies and procedures
including Health, Hygiene & Safety
Perform related tasks
and duties as assigned reasonably requested by management.
Engage in adaptive
communication with guests and visitors and ensure smooth flow at the lobby at
all times
Remain present at the
lobby to exemplify brand image
Promote, Upsell and
cross sell hotel services and facilities
Recognize all repeat
and VIP guests and visitors
Ensure complaints and
feedbacks are logged, communicated and resolved according to the Jumeirah
standards
Is a constant source
of information, help and assistance to all guests
Promote the Sirius
program (ISME where applicable)
Co-ordinate house
tours/site inspections with the relevant parties
Take corrective
action when required to improve safety of working areas
Perform duties as
assigned and deemed responsible by management.

The ideal candidate
for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.
Outgoing personality,
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Very good command of
reading, speaking, and writing English language
Fluent in a second
language. A third language is highly appreciated
Strong guest service
focus
Savoir-faire
Excellent follow up,
follow through and problem solving skills
Computer Literacy and
very good MS Office skills
Good knowledge of PMS
& Service Agent systems (OPERA, HotSOS preferred).
