AAFA and Demat processes are a part of Consumer Banking Operations. There are two interrelated processes handled by this unit
One is to open loan/overdraft accounts for domestic customers. The forms are sourced by AAFA relationship managers from across approved locations. It also involves performing maintenance functions related to these accounts
The other is the end to end handling of the demat processes which includes opening of accounts, processing maintenance requests, execution of transfer instructions submitted by clients from across branches. The unit also handles customer queries and resolution
Core processing of Account opening, maintenances and customer instructions
Error free processing and being highly productive
Follow through tasks and take ownership to ensure they are completed to the required standards
Escalate queries to a team manager as appropriate, and ensure these hand-offs are completed in a timely fashion
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the role and take responsibility for own learning
Adhere to policies, standard framework stated by the company to meet client need
Circulation of MIS
Transaction capture for activities related to Account opening, transaction processing, maintenances, as per laid down procedures and processes, MIS and other functions. Interacting with clients for BAU activities
Monitor exception reports and work towards resolution
Handling customer complaints and query resolution
Meeting SLA targets
Qualifications

Education and Preference:

Having an operations background with 3 - 4 years of experience in relevant field
Has completed MBA/CA
Self-starter and ability to run the BAU process
Good Communication Skills – written and spoken
Good People Management Skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deliver against sometimes very short deadlines
Candidate should have Competence in Windows based tools (Outlook/Word/Excel)

NISM Certified
