We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join as Manager Commercial Property in 36 month fixed term contract.
You will add immediate value by being responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of construction projects, in compliance with Etihad’s board of governance. Overall responsibilities include, contractual, financial and risk mitigation of contracts and managing the team of quantity surveyors.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare Project estimates
Evaluate the requirement for external consultants on individual projects
Advises on procurement strategies and undertakes commercial negotiations for project pricing/delivery and supplier services
Assisting Etihad’s Procurement and Supply Management, analyzing the credentials of potential consultants and contractors as well as value engineer the appointed contractors bid, in compliance with EY’s board of governance
Prepare RFP documents in conjunction with consultants and Procurement and Supply management department
Analyse consultant and contractor bids with Etihad’s supply-chain management and make recommendations to the tender board
Managing/ liaising with external consultants in providing all cost reports
Liaise with internal stakeholders on financial concerns
Provide independent professional advice and guidance
Manage the Commercial department and assist Quantity Surveyors with commercial functions
Monitor site progress and approve payment certificates to enable payment to consultant and contractors including final handover certificates
Prepare and track and advise annual project budgets
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying and MRICS with extensive knowledge of construction projects.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Contracts Management /Administration.
Experience in Contracting organization is preferred and recent work experience with client/consultant will be an added advantage.
