|
An exciting role has
arisen in the Engineering department at Madinat Jumeirah for a highly
motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is to
be responsible for checking and treating the pool water performs the routine
maintenance of water treatment equipments and add necessary chemical to the
pool water after operation. Treat the pool water and test the pool to
maintain the standard level of chemical required on the pool under the
direction of the Sr. Technician / Team Leader / Supervisor. He may be called
upon to perform any other duties as instructed by his superiors. Main duty is
to maintain the pools to highest level standard in accordance with the DM
requirements.
Your main duties will
include:
To carry out all
necessary water tests and maintains water balance parameters on pools and
water features as per company policy and DM requirements which reflect on the
standard of the Hotel.
Knowledge of handling
pool chemicals and MSDS.
Liaise with stores
personnel to maintain required chemical stock levels.
Ensure that all Work
Order, PPM & CWA’s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed
by the Team Leaders.
Carry out daily
inspections of all related plants and equipment.
Knowledge of
maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.
Sound knowledge of
starting methods from motors, pumps and use of various chemicals for swimming
pools.
Identification of
Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing spares & FLS equipment.
To maintain the work
area safe and tidy conditions.
Be familiar with and
comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and
Procedures.
Knowledge of Building
Management System.
Basics of engineering
drawings.

The ideal candidate
for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A minimum of one year
experience working as Pool Technician in a five star hotel or 5 years in
general engineering services.
Knowledge in swimming
pool maintenance, pool chemicals, MEP maintenance and repairs, pumps &
motors and FLS system.
Knowledge in various
trades would be an added advantage.
You must have
certificate/diploma or degree in engineering related trades with good verbal
communication skills

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join Engineering department in Madinat Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Your main duties will include:
To carry out repairs, maintenance and installation to all related plant and equipment.
To complete work orders, PPMs, CWAs as directed.
To select correct materials from engineering stores.
To organise work in a skilled and professional manner.
To advise supervisor colleagues promptly of any problems or failures.
To ensure safe working conditions for yourself and your colleagues and report to senior colleagues any unsafe working conditions.
To ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition.
Read and understand basic drawings
To use mechanical/electrical test equipment and instruments.
Work on own initiative without full detailed supervision or direction.
Request support and direction as needed.
Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering department policies, processes and procedures.
To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience working as Multi-skill Technician in a five star hotel or 5 years in general engineering services.
You must have also a general knowledge in Mechanical, Plumbing and other trades
Should have good knowledge about computer base planed preventive maintenance, high rise buildings, FLS system.
Knowledge in various trades would be an added advantage.
You must have certificate/diploma or degree in engineering related trades with good verbal communication skills
